Student support during partial government shutdown

UAF’s Division of Student Affairs has analyzed the impact of the partial government shutdown on students and has put in place temporary policies and workarounds to help students continue their enrollment. 


Apply for scholarships

Log into AcademicWorks to apply for 2019-2020 UAF scholarships. Visit the Financial Aid website for more information. Application deadline is Feb. 15.


Apply for graduation

The application deadline for spring graduation is Feb. 15. Visit the Graduation Services webpage for more information about graduation deadlines, requirements and policies. Visit the Commencement website for the spring graduation checklist.


Office of the Bursar

Visit the Office of the Bursar in Signers' Hall to pay tuition and fees, buy a parking decal and get a PolarExpress card at one convenient location. Or visit UAOnline to pay tuition and fees online. Last day for tuition and fee payment is Jan. 28 (by 5 p.m. in person, or midnight at UAOnline).


UAF Bookstore

Visit the UAF Bookstore in Constitution Hall to get your textbooks and UAF logo gear, or purchase your textbooks online.

Your academic advisor will be your guide to UAF, connecting you with your program and helping you find the tools you need to succeed. The Academic Advising Center provides advising for General Studies (undecided), exploring possible majors learning outcomes of each major.

UA Enterprise Directory (EDIR) is a searchable database of UA/UAF employees and their contact information.

UAF's undergraduate tuition and fees for a full load of classes are way less than the national average. And UAF offers a full range of financial aid resources to help pay for your education.
