Thank you for your past philanthropic gifts to UAF. Whether your passion is for research, teaching or public service, your contributions benefit UAF students, the Alaska economy, our nation and the broader world.

As you may have heard, the University of Alaska system, including UAF, is facing a fiscal crisis following unprecedented and massive budget vetoes by Alaska’s governor. Because of this, the governing board for the university has decided to move toward a major restructuring of the higher education landscape, from the current three separately accredited universities of UAF, UA Anchorage and UA Southeast, to a single accredited institution. Major consolidations of programs, and program eliminations, are expected in our new reality. These are uncharted waters for us, and the path ahead is uncertain. The Chancellor’s Report on Philanthropy is published three times a year to recognize our many individual, corporate and foundation partners who support UAF's mission. 


UAF day at the TVSF


UAF day is Aug. 6 at the Tanana Valley State Fair.

The UAF Alumni Association will offer a food booth throughout the fair near the midway, where alumni will make burgers and other treats. Proceeds from the booth fund UAF student scholarships.
