Education & Public Programs

Education & Public Programs offers a wide array of educational activities and resources for teachers, students, families, community members and visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Our role is to offer opportunities to our community to get inspired by and learn from the extraordinary diversity of the museum collections and related research. Through partnerships and collaboration with UAF research departments and community members, we are proud to connect the public with Alaska's science, arts, and cultural diversity. Join us during weekly hands-on family programs, learn about our school field trip opportunities, spend a night in the museum or trigger your curiosity on your own using our object-based kits, exhibit activities and museum boxes. Year after year, we are grateful to have students and devoted volunteers to help us deliver and develop fun programs.
