Northwoods Book Arts Guild is a community of artists actively learning about and creating artist books in Fairbanks, Alaska. The Guild promotes all aspects of book arts through education, participation in exhibitions, and community outreach. It is affiliated with Boreal House Art & Science Center.
The (Fairbanks) Folk School is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that offers affordable classes and programs in a wide variety of hands-on disciplines such as woodcarving, blacksmithing and kayak making. Check out their class listings for more information.
