In September 2020, the UA Museum of the North became the official repository for Bus 142 (aka "Stampede Trail Bus", "Magic Bus", or "Into the Wild Bus").

Explore a variety of ways to make art by carving! Register in advance (children 6 and older) to receive activity supplies and to meet online with a museum educator. At-home activities will also be freely available online.

Iñupiaq artist Ronald Senungetuk was a world-renowned sculptor, silversmith, and woodcarver. As an artist, educator, and mentor, he had a profound impact on the visual arts in Alaska. He founded the Native Art Center in 1965, and was one of the first Alaska Native professors to receive tenure from UAF.
