 Faculty Position in Mariculture

The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences seeks applications from exceptional candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in mariculture to complement CFOS’ breadth of expertise in fisheries and ocean sciences. Mariculture is defined here as the enhancement, restoration and farming of shellfish and seaweeds. This position will be stationed in Kodiak, Alaska, at the Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center. Faculty Position in Quantitative Fisheries Science

The Department of Fisheries within the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Quantitative Fisheries to work at the CFOS Juneau Center. The College seeks candidates skilled in quantitative fisheries methods, statistics, and/or fisheries management to complement our existing strengths in these areas. This is a tripartite position involving research, service, and teaching the next generation of fisheries professionals. Oceanographic Postdoctoral Researcher Position

The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences seeks applications from an adventurous postdoctoral researcher to lead and contribute to the study of Alaskan coastal systems and their physical and ecological connections to offshore marine waters. The position is designed to provide oceanographic expertise to National Park Service studies in Alaska and technical assistance for coastal issues nationally, helping understand and address the manifestation and consequences of a warming climate.
