About us

Juju was raised in the beautiful state of Colorado and earned a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of San Diego. She has traveled around the country pursuing a career in higher education, from Denver, to Boston, to Anchorage! Outside of work, Juju enjoys reading, swimming, skiing, cooking, and spending time with her partner and friends.

Elvie was born in Fairbanks and grew up in rural Alaska, but has roamed around for the past 10 years, living in Italy, California, Montana, Costa Rica and even on the road in a van. She also explored a variety of career paths in the outdoor industry, from rafting guide to park ranger, before deciding to settle down and focus on her lifelong passion: art. She has returned to her roots in Fairbanks to pursue a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts at UAF and enjoys using her creative talents to create impactful artwork and designs. Elvie lives in a tiny dry cabin with her dog Tazlina and is an avid painter, photographer, and ice climber when she’s not working or studying on campus.
