A Weekend of Performance

Join the UAF Theatre & Film community for FLPA Weekend 2026, a four-day celebration of student creativity, performance, and film. Presented by Ground Squirrel Improv, the Student Drama Association and Film Club, this lineup brings together original performance and film work by Theatre & Film students.

All events are open to the public and take place in the UAF Lee H. Salisbury Lab Theatre.

Clowns and acrobats abound in Ground Squirrel Improv's upcoming show! Bring your friends to gawk and giggle at the comedic prowess of the troupe during their final performance of the semester! Donations Optional!

Show: 2:00pm

The Student Drama Association presents two set lists from Friday, April 17th @ 7:30pm and Saturday, April 18th @ 2:00pm. One vision: humans in their natural habitat, creating art. Hosted by puppet emcees, this interdisciplinary and audiovisual talent show will train student designers, writers, and directors to hone their ambitious crafts and build more beauty into our community. Featuring Aurora Aerial Arts, Aurora A-capella Club, and dozens of theatre and film students.

FREE for students and 10$ for general admission.

House opens: 5:00pm
Show begins: 5:30pm

 

Rolling out the red carpet for an evening of student films! Concessions will be available before the event, and come photo-ready!

Theme: Red Carpet, come dressed in your best (semi-formal)

Concessions (popcorn and assorted candy bars) will be available before the films begin, pay by donation

Awards for first, second, and third place are based on audience choice voting after the screening of the films. Certificates and awards will be awarded at the end of the film screenings the same night. Donations Optional!
