Scholarship Support

Scholarships, Fellowships and student awards have an incredible impact on our Nanook Nation! We believe that enhanced student aid, through restricted or unrestricted gifts, helps retain the most talented of students.

The Pat Kwachka Memorial Scholarship's mission is to provide financial assistance for tuition and other related educational expenses to first-year Master of Arts (MA) students in Linguistics at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Thank you for continuing to support Linguistics at UAF!

Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; you are not receiving any goods or services in exchange for the money you give.

"If language is intimately related to being human, then when we study language we are, to a remarkable degree, studying human nature."
