Student Support

Donations to the Rev Bob and Dr. Sharon Swope Scholarship Fund provide scholarships for students pursuing careers in health science, science education or science reporting. Appropriate majors include emergency services, justice, journalism, biology, nursing, chemistry and education.

Riley von Borstel stands with UAF Chancellor Dan White after being awarded the Marion Frances Boswell Memorial Award, which recognizes an outstanding bachelor's degree candidate during UAF's 101st commencement ceremonies May 5 in the Davis Concert Hall. Von Borstel received bachelor’s degrees in justice, political science and performing arts, with minors in social work, psychology and creative writing.

Scholarship Support

Scholarships, Fellowships and student awards have an incredible impact on our Nanook Nation! We believe that enhanced student aid, through restricted or unrestricted gifts, helps retain the most talented of students.

Donations to the John Kevin Lamm Memorial Scholarship provide scholarships for freshman and sophomore students with a demonstrated commitment to public safety at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Students need not be justice majors so long as their interest and commitment to public safety is adequately represented through the essay requirement.

Thank you for continuing to support UAF Justice!

Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; you are not receiving any goods or services in exchange for the money you give.

“Restorative Justice is respect. Respect for all, even those who are different from us; even those who seem to be our enemies. Respect reminds us of our interconnectedness, but also of our differences. Respect insists we balance concerns for all parties. If we pursue justice as respect, we will do justice restoratively.”
