The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Alaska Section is pleased to be offering
$7000 in scholarships to university students enrolled in an accredited engineering
or other transportation related program. One scholarship of $2,000, two scholarships
of $1,500, and two scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded.
URSA Student Projects Awardsare for undergraduate students planning to conduct research or pursue creative projects.
The Fall Student Projects Award fund up to $2,500 for an individual and up to $5,000 for a group of two or more students.
These awards may be used to cover:
travel (for conducting fieldwork - pending on COVID-19 restrictions)
The Alaska Space Grant Program (ASGP) invites applications from U. S. citizens for undergraduate research apprenticeship
stipends. These stipends are offered to undergraduate students majoring in science,
technology, engineering and/or mathematics (STEM) fields. Preference is given to projects
directly related to NASA's interests. Stipends available under this announcement are
limited to students attending Alaska institutions of higher education.
While all qualified students are encouraged to apply, women and individuals from underrepresented
groups, specifically, Alaska Natives, Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanics,
Pacific Islanders, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Students are required to identify a faculty mentor with whom they intend to work,
and who is available to write a letter of collaboration.
