Dutch Consul General Visits ACEP's Power Systems Integration Laboratory

Dutch Consul General Gerbert Kunst (San Francisco) and Honorary Consul Irene Post (Anchorage) visited ACEP's Power Systems Integration Laboratory last week. The visit was organized by Lanien Livingston and Ben Loeffler from the Fairbanks North Star Borough. The group discussed Holland's goal to reduce reliance on natural gas for heating and exploring ways to expand district and renewable heating programs. ACEP researchers will continue to pursue future collaborations with Holland to leverage Alaska's extensive district heating experience.
