Short courses at ACEP

ACEP short courses are 4-7 day experiential learning opportunities on a specific energy topic. Short courses are designed for undergraduate and graduate students, and many short courses offer the option of industry and/or community members participating alongside the students. Short courses are opportunities for students, working professionals, and community members to immerse in community energy projects, experience real-world energy and engineering concepts, build a collaborative professional network, and expand workforce pathways.
All ACEP short courses include:
- Unifying themes facilitated by one or more ACEP researchers
- Interdisciplinary lens
- Place-based, experiential learning
- Energy innovation in the context of sociotechnical and cultural perspectives
