Presentation on federal nuclear energy priorities

The next Alaska Nuclear Energy Working Group meeting will feature a presentation and update on the Trump Administration’s priorities related to nuclear energy and key initiatives currently underway. The presenter is Rian Bharan, who serves as the deputy assistant secretary for nuclear reactors in the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Nuclear Energy, overseeing a comprehensive portfolio that includes research, development, demonstration and deployment of advanced nuclear reactors.
