ACEP’s Amanda Byrd hosts the “Energy in the North” series.

The upcoming “Energy in the North” episodes will feature Michelle Wilber, ACEP research engineer, on her research at the edges of the grid, and Rich Strömberg, a UAF Ph.D. student with ACEP, on recycling old solar panels for households and businesses.
“Energy in the North” explores the importance and opportunities that energy and power provide to Alaska and its people.
The series airs weekly on KUAC FM 89.9 and streams on KUAC on Wednesdays following the 7 and 8 a.m. newscast and during All Things Considered.
