  • Climate survey on diversity and equity open through March 28

    UAF has partnered with the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium to administer a diversity and equity campus climate survey to the entire UAF community. This survey asks students, faculty, staff and administrators about their perceptions and experiences related to diversity, inclusion, discrimination, and harassment at UAF. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous.

I am not going to tell you about how, if you face challenges and do hard things, your life will get easier and you can convert to eating bonbons every day. In fact, I want to encourage you to do more hard things without even having the goal of 'easy.' The goal of doing hard things, rising to the challenge, and resiliency through hard work is to be better at doing just that. That is what I want to talk about today.
