Friday Focus: SHCC keeps UAF healthy

The UAF Student Health and Counseling Center offers students many resources to help them stay healthy and well while pursuing their academic goals! Depending on where you are located, you can access our services in person or via telehealth through UAF SHCC providers or TimelyCare. Students in the Fairbanks area have access to in-person mental health and medical services through the SHCC provider team. In addition, the SHCC offers important training to our students, staff and faculty.

UAF's new enrollment deposit goes live

As of the upcoming fall 2026 semester, the University of Alaska Fairbanks will be implementing a $200 enrollment deposit for new baccalaureate and graduate students to confirm their intent to enroll at UAF. The new deposit is live as of Monday, Feb. 2.
