An accounting minor is an excellent way to gain and demonstrate expertise in specific areas of accounting, such as taxation, managerial accounting, accounting systems or auditing. Students majoring in accounting may not choose the accounting minor.
Minor Degree Requirements
Minimum Requirements for Minor: 15 credits
Students must earn a C- grade or better in each course.

|Principles of Managerial Accounting
|Complete 3 of the following upper-division accounting electives:
|Accounting Information Systems
|Managerial Cost Accounting
|Internal and Government Auditing
|Advanced Cost Accounting and Controllership
|Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting
NOTE Courses completed to satisfy this minor can be used to simultaneously satisfy other major or general education requirements.
