BIO
Logan Borger is currently a UAF graduate student in mechanical engineering and geospatial science. His master’s research deals with assessing turbulence in rivers for rural Alaskan communities via drone imagery. He has been working at ACEP to produce and analyze digital elevation models that are used to study permafrost and coastal erosion around the state. Additionally, he has been involved in mapping the power infrastructure in Galena.
A life-long Alaskan, Borger really enjoys doing research in the state and hopes to contribute to the implementation of renewables throughout Alaska.
