The Scholarship Coordinator manages the application process for most privately funded scholarships, and coordinates with academic departments that evaluate applications and select recipients.

Andrew T. Weaver Memorial Scholarship

student enrolled in any natural resources degree program
scholarly interests unrelated to, or outside of, the natural resource degree program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, in other words, to encourage intellectual growth and experience variety in such students

Bonita J. Neiland Scholarship
natural resources management

John B. and Mae M. Hakala Scholarship
Alaska residency preferred
wildlife biology, biological sciences, natural resources management (forestry) or pursuing a career in nursing

Mike Hoyt Society of American Foresters Scholarship
junior, senior or graduate student
natural resources management or environment (forestry option)
Paul Greimann Sr. Memorial Scholarship 
junior or senior
born in Alaska preferred; plan to remain in state preferred
in any Natural Resources Management or Environment major 

Richard E. Lee Scholarship
junior, senior or graduate student
mining engineering or environmental science (NRM-geographical information systems)
graduate from Alaskan high school

Society of American Foresters/Richard W. and Margery Tindall Scholarship
graduate, or undergraduate with minimum of 60 credits
natural resources management or environment (forestry option) 

Walt Begalka Memorial Scholarship
natural resources management, forestry option
preference to students in the following order of priority: 1) from SAF Dixon Entrance Chapter Boundary; 2) from southeast AK; 3) from Alaska.

Yu Quan Liu/Long Jin Huang/Yue-Ming Chou (Li Huang Chou) Scholarship
