Family Cultural Night: The Changing Face of Rural Women of Bangladesh June 25

Join Trina Mamoon, associate professor of Foreign Languages and Women's and Gender Studies Program affiliate, for Family Cultural Night at 7 p.m, Monday, June 25, at the Museum of the North. Attendance is free.

The lecture will include a brief history of Bangladesh and discuss Grameen Bank's impact on the lives of underprivileged rural women of Bangladesh.

Mamoon, originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, has been teaching Russian, French and World Literature at UAF since 1998.

Family Cultural Night will be held every Monday evening June 4 – July 2, at 7 p.m., at the Museum of the North.  Lectures are free to attend.
