UAF Nanook Rendezvous
July 18-20, 2024

Join us for Nanook Rendezvous, the all-class UAF reunion. Reunion weekend begins Thursday at 5 p.m. with a welcome reception and the alumni awards presentation. Before Nanook night at the Alaska Goldpanners baseball game, Friday is campus day. On Saturday, alumni may participate in the Golden Days Grande Parade, which will include a UAF entry.

Welcome reception and alumni awards ceremony

The UAF Pub will be open with music and an opportunity to reminisce and take a walk down memory lane back to the days when you were a student.

Music in the Garden
7:30-8:30 p.m.
Georgeson Botanical Garden
If you'd rather be outside, Music in the Garden will be playing in the Georgeson Botanical Garden. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. FSAF American Roots: Emily Anderson and Ryan Bowers will play. Be sure to bring a chair or a blanket.

Join us for a fun filled day on campus. All events are free and open to alumni, family and friends.
- 8:30-9 a.m. - Continental breakfast - Alumni Lounge, 201 Constitution Hall
- 9-10 a.m. - The MILL (The Making is Learning Lab) presentation and activity, 131 Bunnell Building
- 10:15-11:30 a.m. - Discover drones tour, meet at Eielson Building shuttle stop
- 12:15-1 p.m. - Lunch, Usibelli Building Atrium
- 1-2:30 p.m. Meet alumni author Tricia Brown, Usibelli Building atrium
- 2:30-4 p.m. Research showcase: Turning Ideas into Success with Alaska Center Ice (Center for Innovation, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship) and URSA (Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity)

Bring your family and friends to Nanook Night at the Alaska Goldpanners baseball game. Admission is free with a UAF Alumni Association ticket.

Saturday, July 20
Golden Days Parade
9 a.m.-noon
Carlson Center, 2010 Second Ave.
Join UAF for the annual Golden Days Grande Parade. This year’s theme is Tale as Gold as Time. All alumni and friends are welcome to walk in the parade or ride on the float.
Here are a few other things you need to know:
- Parade participants must fill out this form.
- A parental consent form must be submitted for any participants younger than 18. Email this completed form to uaf-univ-relations@alaska.edu.
- Please read through the parade rules.
- Email forms to University Relations at uaf-univ-relations@alaska.edu.
The parade is 2.1 miles long. If you would like to ride on the float, please let us
know soon.
Participants must be in the north Carlson Center parking lot no later than 9:30 a.m.
to get positioned before the parade begins at 10 a.m. Please catch a ride on the shuttle
from Ryan Middle School allowing enough time to arrive at the Carlson Center’s north
parking lot between - 9-9:40 a.m.
There is no parking at the Carlson Center.
