The Learning Center
The UAF CTC Learning Center encompasses THREE learning spaces:
- The Debbie Moses Learning Center at the UAF Community Technical College on 604 Barnette St. in room 102
- The Student Success Center on the Troth Yeddha’ campus on the 6th floor of the Rasmuson Library
- One-on-one online sessions via zoom
Each area of the UAF CTC Learning Center is dedicated to providing educational support and services to ALL students in a friendly and welcoming environment.

If you need FREE access to the internet, school supplies, a printer, scanner, IT help, snacks, or tutoring in math and writing and science come see us!
The Debbie Moses Learning Center is open to students to work independently from 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-5pm on Fridays.
If you are looking for help with writing, math, or science assignments, see our schedules below for our tutor’s working hours. All in-person tutoring is provided on a walk-in basis, no appointments required!

CTC dean candidates to make public presentations

Kevin Alexander and Brenda Madore, candidates for dean of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College, will give public presentations Monday, Dec. 1, and Tuesday, Dec. 2.
UAF summit to explore health care careers, education
October 21, 2025
Community members can explore an ever-expanding array of health careers and educational opportunities at the 14th annual Alaska Interior Medical Education Summit. The summit will feature demonstrations, panel discussions and hands-on activities to introduce attendees to various health care careers and education options. It will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Murie Building at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
UAF culinary program bistro opens for spring season

The Borealis Bistro, a lunch service provided by the UAF Community and Technical College culinary arts program, will be open to the public from Feb. 27-May 1.
