ARCTIC INNOVATION COMPETITION
The College of Business and Security Management hosts the UAF Arctic Innovation Competition, which awards over $40,000 in awards and prizes in three age groups for innovative ideas. This competition, now in its eleventh year, invites innovators to propose new, feasible and potentially profitable ideas for solving real-life problems and challenges.
BUSINESS LEADER OF THE YEAR
Each year, the College of Business and Security Management selects a recipient for the UAF Business Leader of the Year award. Recipients are selected by a committee of CBSM students, faculty, advisory board members and former recipients based on merits of leadership, business accomplishments, community involvement and educational support.
