The auditions will be held from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Auditioners should prepare a contemporary comedic monologue. There will be a sign-up sheet for five-minute slots posted on the callboard by 223 Fine Arts. If you cannot sign up in person, please contact director Tom Robenolt at email@example.com or 907-474-6590 to arrange a time.
Actors should read the full script and audition sides, available in digital form only. Please contact Tom Robenolt at firstname.lastname@example.org or 907-474-6590.
Set in present-day New York City, "Seminar" follows four young writers — Kate, Martin, Douglas, and Izzy — and their professor, Leonard. Each student has paid Leonard $5,000 for a ten-week writing seminar to be held in Kate's Upper West Side apartment. As tensions arise and romance falls, they clash over their writing, their relations, and their futures.
