The Northern Studies Student Club is hosting "The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge: History, Management and Planning," 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Nov 11, in 208 Gruening.  The purpose of the event is to instruct the public about the history of ANWR, raise awareness of the draft Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) that is currently up for public review, and provide information about the process of management on public lands in the United States.

  • Julie Lurman Joly, UAF Associate Professor of Resources Law and Policy

  • Sharon Seim, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Planning Team Lead
