Once you have submitted your new organization request through OrgSync you'll need to contact the student organizations office in Wood Center for a meeting regarding your club proposal. We are conveniently located in the Wood Center offices, available via phone at 474-1170, or by email at

Student Organization Description:
The goals of the Northern Studies Student Organization are to:<BR> • Make the Northern Studies Program and its students visible on campus through various events and activities<BR> • Organize community outreach events aimed at students and faculty at the university as well as the general Fairbanks public<BR> • Raise awareness of issues relating to the north and provide a forum for discussion and interaction<BR> • Create a fun learning environment for NORS students and faculty to interact with each other
