Are you enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, taking six credits or more and meet any of the criteria below?


  • First-generation college student (neither parent/guardian has earned a baccalaureate degree)

  • Limited income

  • Documented physical or learning disability


If you answered YES, then you qualify for SSS!

UAF Student Support Services helps students become successful in college by offering free academic, social and cultural opportunities. Services include:

  • Comprehensive academic advising

  • Tutoring! Our peer and professional tutors are certified through the College Reading and Learning Association.

  • Laptop and technology loan program

  • Opportunities for cultural and social engagement

  • Free copying/printing of academic materials

  • Help with researching, applying for and understanding the financial resources available
