Summer Sessions is hosting a variety of lectures, movies and concerts this week. All events will take place at the Murie Building Auditorium or otherwise noted.

Wednesday, June 26
5:30 p.m. — Activity: Family Fitness Wednesday – carnival-style games for whole family. This activity is organized outside the SRC. In case of rain, an alternate activity will be planned inside the SRC.

7 p.m. — Discover Alaska Lecture: “Alaskan Brain Foods: What to eat to slow aging and neurodegeneration” with Barbara Taylor, professor of biology

Thursday, June 27
7 p.m. — Film: “Hard Rider" (1972). This documentary follows the rodeo circuit as experienced by Canadian world-champion cowboy Kenny McLean. 58 min.

7 p.m. — Concert: “Susan Grace – An Alaskan Troubadour” With a strong rich voice and acoustic guitar, Grace sings her original songs blending traditional with contemporary styles and rhythms. (At the Georgeson Botanical Garden)
