Lobland to serve as interim HR director

Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services Pat Pitney has appointed Brad Lobland to serve as interim director of UAF Human Resources, effective immediately.
Lobland has been with UAF since 2004, working primarily in the HR field. He served
as UAF’s interim HR director March 2007 - September 2008 and as associate director
starting in 2009 until present. Lobland has earned the respect of the department and
our campus community. He has the historical and operational knowledge necessary to
maintain and improve HR services.
He succeeds Kris Racina, who has accepted a new position with UAF’s University and
Student Advancement division.
