Ice tower open house

The ice tower is opening for spring 2018! Join Outdoor Adventures at an open house Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 4-8 p.m. The event will be held at the ice tower, on the west side of the Student Recreation Center. Enjoy climbing, a bonfire and barbecue. Climbers of all abilities can have fun on one of the only ice towers in existence!
The ice tower is free for students with an SRC membership, and $10 per session for UAF affiliates, $15 for the general public. Five- and 10-punch passes are available. All technical gear is provided. (While there's no age limit, children must be able to wear a minimum of men's size 5.)
The ice tower is open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4-8 p.m., and Saturdays from noon-4 p.m.
