2012 Spotlight Series: The Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge June 27

Join Mark Bertram and Vince Matthews at 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 27 at Schaible Auditorium for a lecture that will provide an overview of the Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge, including a history of its establishment; its unique plant and animal resources; the management, and biological programs; and its context within the Alaska and National Refuge System.

Bertram has served as wildlife biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 25 years and senior biologist on the Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge since 1993.

This lecture is part of the 2012 Spotlight Series. Free lectures are held Wednesday evenings, May 30 – August 15 (no event on July 4), at 7 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium.
