Welding

Skilled, certified welders can find work on construction sites, in petroleum-related industries and in many jobs where heavy equipment is being used. Their services are needed for shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, and repair, aerospace applications, bridges, pipelines, power plants, and refineries.

Annual salaries range from $40,570 to $62,330, with substantial increases available, dependent on location and level of skill or experience.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Class sizes are limited.  

Face-to-face

Stand-alone courses are with the instructor present in the classroom for a traditional lecture, discussion, and hands-on laboratory or studio.

On occasions, CTT 106: Construction Math may be offered online.
