Purchasing from the SOE Custom Store
If you are interested in purchasing a Macintosh laptop from the SOE Custom Store, send an email indicating your interest and containing your first and last names, your UAF e-mail ID (e.g., fsxxx or name@alaska.edu) and your UAF student identification number (e.g., 30011111) to Skip Via at wwvia@alaska.edu. If you are an SOE student, faculty or staff member in good standing, you'll receive an e-mail confirmation and you may then access the store using the link below:

IMPORTANT! Click
on the "Recommended Systems" icon (see image at
left) at the top right of the store page to learn about the recommended laptop
options. If you do not click on this icon, you will not be presented
with the discounted bundles. During the purchase process, you
will be asked to create an account with Apple. A purchase confirmation letter
will be sent to the e-mail address that you provide.
Make sure and order the correct software bundle (Office, Inspiration, and a case). The only difference in the two bundles is the size of the case. Order the bundle that matches your laptop's size.
Do not delete or decrease any of the included items from your purchase. Doing so will negate the discount and may end up actually costing you more. It may also cause your system to fall below the laptop requirements stated above. You will have the opportunity to add items (e.g., more RAM) during the purchase without jeopardizing the initial discount.
