White named engineer of the year

The Alaska Society of Professional Engineers has named University of Alaska Fairbanks Chancellor Dan White the 2022 engineer of the year. The award recognizes the engineering achievements, professional service, and civil and humanitarian activities of an Alaska engineer. White received the award at the annual Engineers Week banquet in February.
