The office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity is offering up to $2,500 for an individual student and up to $5,000 for a group of two or more students conducting research or creative projects during the 2022 spring semester.

Degree undergraduate students taking at least 6 credits with a GPA of 2.3 or more can apply. Students can be in any year from any major. Projects do not need to be in the student’s degree program.

Funds can be used for a stipend, registration fees to present at a virtual meeting or conference , tuition, and supplies. Please review the eligibility criteria for more details.

Students need an idea and a faculty or graduate student mentor. URSA can help connect students, discuss ideas and answer questions. URSA also allows students to look at successfully funded project applications.

Apply online by Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021. For more information, email Marie Olesen at molesen@alaska.edu.
