Nominations are being accepted for the 2026 University of Alaska Fairbanks Business Leader of the Year award.
The award, presented by the UAF College of Business and Security Management, honors
a person who has demonstrated leadership, business acumen, community engagement and
educational support.
The annual award is presented at a dinner that students attend and play a major role
in planning. This year's event will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the
8 Star Events Center. Nominations are kept active for three years. Nominators are
encouraged to submit a simple form that includes the nominee’s name, contact information,
qualifications and community involvement. There is also an option to provide names
of additional supporters who can add their letters to the nomination packet.
A committee of students, faculty, advisory board members and past recipients will select the 2026 recipient.
The submission deadline is Sunday, March 8, at 11:59 p.m.
