Teddi Walker named director of Residence Life

Teddi Walker became the director of Residence Life in September 2021.

Teddi Walker is the new director of UAF Residence Life. She has 20 years of experience in housing and residence life, summer camps and conference housing. She is certified in Clifton Strengths, has been a QPR trainer for 15 years, and has six years of experience as a Title IX investigator.

She has also served in a variety of roles at multiple institutions, including Furman University, University of Tennessee and Valdosta State University. Walker has a B.S. in biology and an M.Ed. in counseling with an emphasis in student affairs from Northern Arizona University.

Growing up out west in Idaho and northern Arizona, Walker gained an appreciation for nature and a love of outdoor activities. She is excited to explore Alaska's natural wonders with her family.
