Chartwells' Waste Not initiative maximizes product use, as with these tomatoes. Chefs core out the stem instead of discarding the top slice of the tomato. The remaining cores are then composted.

Chartwells is investing in the planet and our shared future with sustainable practices like small-batch cooking, composting, decreasing plastic use, maximizing produce use to reduce waste, and using biodegradable packaging where possible.
