UAF Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning offers a variety of non-credit courses accessible to members of the community without the requirements of typical college courses. Many of these courses are practical, hands-on, workshop-style classes taught by local experts.

The spring and summer lineup includes the following topics and more: bookmaking, bicycle maintenance, field sketching, mushroom identification, photography, ballroom dance, fly fishing, geocaching, and golf.
