New UAF professional development offering: 3-day Emerging Leaders Program

UAF Administrative Services, in partnership with the HumanLink, is offering a learning and development opportunity for aspiring team leaders. This is open to participants campus wide that have not yet had supervisory experience, but would like to build these skills for future supervisory roles.

In this 3-Day Emerging Leaders Program participants will explore topics that new or aspiring leaders encounter as they move through their leadership journey, including transitions through different levels of work, values-based leadership, behavioral styles, the importance of managing individuals or teams in distinct ways to get the best from them, wellbeing, building work-place trust, giving and receiving feedback, and setting direction. 

**Prior to submitting your application for consideration, please be sure you have the support of your supervisor and are available to attend each day in person: March 22, 23, 24, 2023. 

Maximum number of participants: 30

Fee: $995 per person*

Application closes: March 3, 2023

Successful applicants will be notified by March 8, 2023.

* To help make this course more accessible, 50% of the program fee will be covered by Administrative Services. 

** This is an in-person 3-day workshop located on the Troth Yeddha’ Campus in Fairbanks.  Please follow UA travel approval procedures, if applicable.
