Mental Health First Aid training

Student Health and Counseling is offering several Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainings throughout the semester.

MHFA is a course that teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges.

Participants complete a 2-hour, self-paced online course. Following this, learners participate in a 7-hour virtual or in-person instructor-led training (3.5 hours on two consecutive days).

  • Cost is $23.95 per participant
  • Participants MUST be able to commit to both days of the training to complete MHFA certification
