McDonald to serve as interim registrar

Holly McDonald has been named interim registrar, effective March 4. 

She will take over for Mike Earnest, who has accepted a new position with the University of Alaska Office of Information Technology. He will manage a systemwide project to modernize the university’s student information systems. The project is expected to take about three years. 

McDonald brings over 20 years of experience at UAF in student services and has seven years of experience working in the Registrar’s Office as associate registrar. Most recently, she has served as advising coordinator for the past two years.
