LEAP seeking applicants for spring 2024 semester
The UAF Center for Teaching and Learning is seeking faculty and student applicants to participate in the Learner Experience Advocacy Program for the 2024 Spring semester. LEAP is a semester-long faculty development program where trained undergraduate students partner with participating instructors to share feedback on their online courses.
Faculty have the opportunity to receive a $1,000 stipend, and students get a $1,500 scholarship. If you know of a current UAF student who would be a good fit for LEAP, please recommend the program to them!
Follow this link to learn more about the program and submit an application.
Applications are due Dec. 18.
“Participating in the LEAP program was an absolute joy. Although we already ask for
course feedback from students multiple times throughout the semester, the perspective
and extended conversations we had with the LEAP student evaluators were invaluable.”
- Mareca Guthrie, associate professor of art, spring 2022 LEAP instructor
