Faculty, students needed for Learner Experience Advocacy Program

Dec. 6, 2021

Updated Dec. 15: The deadline for faculty to apply to LEAP has been extended to Dec. 20.

The UAF Faculty Accelerator and eCampus are seeking faculty and student applicants to participate in the Learner Experience Advocacy Program for spring semester 2022. In this new program, undergraduate students are trained in course feedback strategies and embedded (not enrolled) in an online or hybrid course. Students will observe course design and delivery and offer feedback to participating faculty.

Student advocates will receive pedagogy and professional growth training, along with a $1,500 scholarship for completing the program.

LEAP faculty partners receive targeted, high-quality feedback on their course design and teaching, build community with colleagues and students, and are recognized by the Provost’s Faculty Development Team for their commitment to their teaching practice.
