Celebrating staff April 10

Mark your calendars for Staff Recognition and Development Day on Friday, April 10. This is a day to celebrate collective achievements and professional growth.

The Longevity Awards ceremony begins at 9 a.m., where significant milestones will be recognized and the Chancellor’s Cornerstone Award recipient will be announced.

Most activities will be offered in a hybrid format (in-person and Zoom):

• 9 a.m. — Longevity Awards (hybrid)
• Noon — Staff Appreciation lunch (in-person only)
• Professional and personal development sessions (hybrid). Full details coming soon.

Updated longevity calculation for 2026

Human Resources is now using cumulative years of service rather than adjusted service dates for longevity. For many, this will be a “catch-up” year. Please review the recipient list on the chancellor’s website. Please email Carla Browning, the Onboarding and Engagement manager, by March 20 if there are any questions or changes.

Supervisors may want to consider a personalized note of appreciation for individuals or a team acknowledgment. Any employee can submit kudos to be displayed publicly during the event.
