BLaST scholar Jennie Humphrey, right, and peer undergraduate Taylor Seitz set up an experiment in the UAF greenhouse under the supervision of Assistant Professor Devin Drown on June 14, 2018.

This event has been canceled.

The BLaST program will host its annual research mixer Tuesday, Oct. 5, from 4-6 p.m in the Murie Auditorium. This is one of the best opportunities of the year to see what research is happening at UAF and which projects, labs and mentors are currently looking for students, and to network with other students, faculty and researchers.

BLaST mentors, faculty and graduate students will give one-minute "elevator talks" on their research topics and why you should join their team. You can network and chat about the projects, with the goal of finding one that interests you. To attend and get the Zoom link, please register here by noon Oct. 5.

Elevator talk and presentation slides are due by noon Monday, Oct. 4. If you plan to present, please fill out the presentation registration form.
