Workshop to highlight living on less

University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service agent Roxie Dinstel will teach a workshop on living on less and saving more Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Noel Wien Library auditorium.
America Saves Week is Feb. 24 to March 1 and the free workshop is part of Extension’s activities marking the week. Dinstel will talk about expenses, how to change spending habits and how to get on a firm financial footing. According to a recent survey, nearly half of Americans have $800 or less in savings.
