Women's basketball meet and greet Nov. 2

The Alaska Nanooks women’s basketball team will be hosting a meet and greet Friday,
Nov. 2, from 4-6 p.m. at the downtown Mt. McKinley Bank, 500 4th Ave.
The event is free and open to the public.
The team will be joined by first-year head coach Kerri Nakamoto and second-year assistant
coach Jessie Craig. Other members from the Alaska Nanooks athletics department will
also participate.
There will be autograph signings, giveaways and free food and beverages.
The Alaska Nanooks women’s basketball team unofficially kicks off the 2018-2019 season
Tuesday, Nov. 6, as they take on the Division I University of Oregon at the Alaska
Airlines Court at the Patty Center. The game is expected to sell out; tickets are
on sale now.
