Flyer that contains same info as the announcement, plus three photos of the student speakers.Earl Greene, director of the Water Resources Research Act Program from the U.S. Geological Survey, will help the UAF Water and Environmental Research Center kick off the first seminar of the academic year on Friday, Sept. 13.  in the BP Design Theater (ELIF401).

Three flash talks will be given by WRRA-funded graduate students — Barbara Johnson, Kristin Gagne and Jason Clark — from departments throughout UAF. Greene will follow up with a short discussion about ways to collaborate with the Water Resources Program at USGS. This is a good opportunity for anyone doing freshwater research to hear about funding  and partnerships/collaborations, and it's a great way to support students.

The WERC seminars are held at noon on the first and third Friday of the month in the BP Design Theater (ELIF 241). You can also find us on the UAF science calendar.
